RSPB Marshside bird sanctuary:
The open marshland, which regularly floods, is home to many migrating species.
Facilities include two enclosed hides, an open hide, and a viewing platform. These are sited near the junctions of the Marine Drive with Hesketh Road and Marshside Road.
Hides are open every day 8.30 till 17.00. Entrance is free.
