Lathom and the nearby villages of Mawdesley and Bispham Green, offer many intersting nooks and crannies.
Briars hall Hotel is often a venue for wedding fayres and other events. Its proximity to Skelmersdale and the M58 make it a very convenient stop-over, yet still in the heart of the countryside.
Mawdesley is home to several fine pubs. But not to be missed is Cedar Farm crafts centre, where you will find artist’s studio-shops on site.
Bispham Green is home to the Eagle & Child. A 16th century inn, with quirky tables and an extensive evening and lunchtime menu, that has found its way into several good food guides.
