Churchtown/Crossens
This is one of the original areas of Southport. In Marshside are located many original fishermans thatched cottages. But the expanding stretches of reclaimed coastline are now home to migrating flocks of wildfowl and are an RSPB santuary.
Inland Churchtown is now re-growing its village character, with new shops, restaurants and wine bars.
