Southport

Southport has been under a white blanket, like the rest of the country, since 5th January. Main roads like Lord Street, the Coast Road and Norwood Avenue have been clear. But other heavily trafficed routes, like Hesketh Drive, though passable remain covered in snow and ice.

Arterial routes such as the Tarelton By-pass are clear. Motorways in the region are also clear of snow. However delays have been occurring because of accidents.
