Serious Pier Accident
Two ambulances, a fire engine and a paramedic attended a serious accident this afternoon (Sunday) when a blue Peugeot and a dark blue Fiat collided. The incident happened around 3.20pm and caused tailbacks in all directions from the roundabout on the sea wall by the pier.
The collision was so sever that firemen had to use cutting gear to free occupants from the Peugeot. Traffic returned to normal about an hour later.
